Inspi.re

without comments

Gilles of Inspi.re says:

Our latest project, Inspi.re has been IE6-incompatible and proud of it since day one. We urge IE6 users to upgrade and so should every website out there. We’re doing very well without the market share of people who won’t update their web browser. So can your company.

My wish is to see the IE6 figure on that page go below 5% in the first quarter of 2010: http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp

We’re starting to campaign the cease of IE6 and for users to upgrade their browsers. We believe IE6 is a dinosaur and should die! Viva Web Standards!

I am also linking to your website to inform other web developers to follow your lead!

Hellow. Visit enoughie6.com, here you can find list of websites, developers of which have ceased to support IE 6. Thanks.
-Eugene Getmanenko

Of course, it’s all in Russian, but those of you that speak Russian (or PHP) might be able to find something useful there.

Marco of http://www.hm.ilumnia.de says:

My Homepage is about 4 months older than IE6, though I manage it for “just” 2.5 years now. We are nor style freaks, we don’t need any animated fluffy-colourful flashskin, but IE6 ain’t even supporting the basic webdesign features which showed up during the last 4 years. We decided not to support IE6. Saves ourselfs a lot of time and a lot of stress as well. IE7 isn’t perfect but waaaaaaay better and out for 3 years now. Use it, dammit!
