The iPod

with 3 comments

The original iPods were introduced in April of 2001 but weren’t available until October 23, 2001. That makes the first generation iPod younger than Internet Explorer 6.

Incidentally, the iPod is 2 days older than Windows XP.

  2. The iPod was introduced at a press event on October 23, 2001, and became available in stores at some point in November 2001.

Some proof (always nice to have):

Otherwise great site with great intentions!

  3. Indeed, you’re correct, the iPod wasn’t available before Windows XP, however the important point I’m making here is that the iPod is younger than IE6.
