Seth at Mars Hill Church says:
We’re not supporting IE6 as of now. We got some feedback emails from people letting us know they’re upgrading to IE7. Feels pretty good. –Seth Faxon

@sxtxixtxcxh I did the template for http://www.swrobotics.com/, and it doesn’t look too great in IE6… Check the upper right corner. 😉 –voyagerfan5761

Sam of Nocturnal Monkey says:
Not a well known site but when I redesigned my personal site earlier this year, I decided early on to not support IE6. There remains some IE6 specific code, but it is due to be removed with my next major clean up.
PS – Thanks for the site!! Finally someone is trying to get IE6 out of the mainstream!! –Sam Hardacre

Mykel of Localist says:
Dealing with IE6 display issues is a continuing nightmare as we roll out new features. IE7 seems to render pages fairly well, so it’d save a TON of development time to drop IE6 support. –Mykel Nahorniak
Sidenote: I have issues typing ‘localist’ – my fingers keep typing ‘localhost’… and I’m sure i’m not alone 😛
Elliott of Carsonified says:
Hi there,
My name is Elliott Kember, and I’m lead developer for Carsonified. We run Future of Web Apps Expo, as well as other web conferences in the UK and US.
I’d like to sign Carsonified up in support of your cause as I think it’s an important issue that needs to be addressed from as many fronts as possible. The sooner we can remove IE6 from the browser market, the sooner we can make some real progress.
We stopped supporting IE6 in our development some time ago due to its lack of transparent PNG support, and horrific CSS rendering – amongst many other bugs I’m sure you’re all too well well aware of!
Please feel free to get in touch – I’m sure we could help out somehow 🙂
Thanks,
Elliott Kember

Great idea with this site by the way, I’ve sent it round the office at Clockwork but unfortunately it’s not business viable for us just yet. –Kyle Meyer
